Apple twigs are a success

I woke early but couldn't move for a few hours (I really need to pace myself better, my body doesn't tell me until it's too late) - I fed Ivorcat, and then checked on Billy.

He had eaten nearly all his pellets. I refilled this and the water and put a glove on and did a poop run. It turns out that the hay I bought goes bright yellow when wet, so it was easy to see where he had done a wee on it. And the paper litter also changes shape, so it was easy to see which bits to pick out.  I'm starting a new compost bag for his poo/hay/litter which I'll use for the flowerbeds once it's all rotted down, I don't think it will be good for my vegetables!

I forgot to take my camera, but I saw he had been chewing the apple twigs. Hurrah! This will help with his teeth. And I think he chirruped at me, but that might be wishful thinking!

Here's a video of him eating cabbage leaf from the other day:

Ivorcat isn't sure about Billy, he seems to notice him, start stalking, then get a bit closer and stop, pretending he can't see Billy. No idea what that's about, but I'm going to keep them well apart!
